2010 AABL Season
(3/02/10) The AABL will be entering it's
13th season of Amateur Adult Baseball.
The season is set to kick off at the end
of March with a preseason tournament.
The regular season is scheduled to start
in April.

Del Corp Captures 2009 Championship in
12 Innings
(7/31/09) Fabacher - In a battle
to decide if the series go to game 3 or
not, Del Corp fought back from an 8-1
deficit to capture the 2009 title.
The Bandits jumped up early 4-0 after
the first inning, scoring 4 more runs
over the next 5 innings to lead 8-1
going into the bottom of the 6th.
Corp scored 2 runs in the bottom of the
6 to cut the lead 8-3. Down 9-3,
Corp fought back scoring 7 runs in the
bottom of the 8th to take the lead 10-9.
Top of the 9th, Bandits Tyler Keowen
singled with 1 out. Thomas
Darbonne followed with a ground
out to SS. With 2 outs, Joey Caillier
hit a double scoring Keowen to force
extra innings. Bottom of the 12th,
leadoff John Kulbeth led off the innning
with a walk, followed by Quinton Richard
reaching on error. Mike Kulbeth
drove in the winning run with a single
to CF to end the game. Jake Kulbeth
received the win pitching a complete
game.

Del
Corp Takes Game First game 6-2
(8/01/09)
Fabacher- Del Corp stretches their win
streak to 14 games with the game 1
decision over the Bandits 6-2.
Ryan Valyan got the win pitching a
complete game, giving up 9 hits, 2
runs while striking out 4. Jeremy
Whipple suffered his first loss of the
season pitching 8 innings. Corp
attacked first scoring 3 runs in the top
of the 3rd, with the Bandits scoring 1
in the bottom of the inning. Corp
chipped away scoring 1 run in the 7th,
8th and 9th while holding the Bandits to
1 run. Jarred Babineau led the way
for Corp going 3-3 with 2 rbi's and a
run. Babineaux reached first on every at
bat.

Del Corp Rides Into Championship on 13
Game Win Streak
(7/31/09) Fabacher - After losing
their first 2 games, Del Corp (13-2) has
knocked out opponents left and right as
they bring their 13 game win streak into
the AABL Championship. The 2009
championship series will be a showdown
between the top two teams in the league,
the Bayou Bandits (12-3) and Del
Corp (13-2). The series will be a repeat of the 2007 championship that
never happened. Due to a rainy season,
Corp and the Bandits did not get to face
off, resulting in a Co-Championship.
This weekend, the Bandits and Del Corp
get to settle the score in a best 2 of 3
series. Corp and the Bandits split
their games this year 1-1. The Bandits
took their first matchup 5-1 in 11
innings, while Corp took game 2 with a
9-5 win. Corp is looking for their
3rd championship, while the Bandits are
looking for their 7th.

Corp Edges Trojans 1-0
(7/31/09) Westminister - Del Corp only
needed 1 run Friday night to defeat the
Trojans to advance to the AABL
Championship. Corp's Corey Chapman
finished what he started Sunday,
pitching 3 shutout innings to complete
their rain delayed game. Trojans
Brad Hamilton took the loss for the
Trojans.

Trojans and Del Corp to Continue Battle
(7/29/09) Fabacher - Thunderstorms
cooled off 2 hot pitchers in a pitchers
duel between former ULL pitcher Corey
Chapman (Del Corp) and Trojans workhorse
Brad Hamilton. After 6 complete
innings, both pitchers held their
opponents to 0 runs before the rain
delayed the game. The 2 teams are
fighting for a spot in the 2009 AABL
Championship series.. The game
will continue Friday night at 7:00 PM,
where the winner will advance to take on
the Bayou Bandits starting Saturday at
12:00 PM at Fabacher stadium in a best
of 3 series.
